Accelerating Translational Research with a Comprehensive Informatics Solution

Windber Research Institute's (WRI) translational research practice is to identify clinical issues that confront physicians and move these issues to the laboratory where advanced molecular and informatics approaches can be applied. This case study outlines WRI's translational research approach and presents their workflow for the Clinical Breast Care Project (CBCP). The CBCP is the largest WRI focus area and illustrates the direction of the informatics system being developed with GenoLogics.
